Our Mission

Catalyst Schools are Lasallian-inspired communities dedicated to the holistic education of every scholar entrusted to our care. We draw from the rich tradition of Lasallian education — a tradition founded on faith in the potential of every young person, a commitment to justice and peace, and a belief that education transforms lives and communities.
At Catalyst, we teach minds and touch hearts. We prepare our scholars to live lives of leadership, meaning, and purpose, and to build a world that is more just, compassionate, and inclusive.
We are committed to these cultural values that shape our identity and form our scholars:

-
Profound reverence for each scholar as a unique and gifted individual
-
Respectful relationships and authentic community
-
High expectations, accountability, and delivering strong results
-
Treating each other the way we want to be treated
-
Promoting justice, peace, and dignity in all we do
Catalyst serves scholars living in communities shaped by the effects of systemic discrimination and economic poverty — communities that are also rich in resilience, culture, and hope. We believe education must honor these strengths while unlocking the full potential of each child — academically, socially, emotionally, and physically.
We value the family as each child’s first and most important teacher. Parental involvement is not only welcome at Catalyst — it is essential to a child’s full development.
Our mission is shaped by The Legacy of Lasallian Education — a belief that teaching is a sacred calling, that every young person is worthy of care and high expectations, and that schools must be places of community, transformation, and hope.
